The new Leica DISTO E7100i is the first laser distance meter with Bluetooth Smart that easily fits into your pocket. Measuring just 4. 72 inches long, 1. 5 inches wide, 0. 9 inches thick, and wieghing in at 3. 25 ounces, it not only fits in your pocket but also in your personal bag or tool pouch with ease. Whether you need a quick material estimation or you work on a home improvement project, the Leica DISTO E7100i with integrated Bluetooth Smart and the free Leica DISTO sketch app offers you endless possibilities to create sketches, generate floor plans, or document your measurements with pictures using a smartphone or a tablet and the free apps. Additional apps that integrate the Disto may be found from your favorite 3rd party developers as well. This unit measures up to 200 feet with 1. 5mm (~1/16 inch) accuracy. Features include 2 line back light display, area calculations, contunuous measuring mode. Units of measure include your choice of feet/inches/fractions, inches/fractions, decimal feet, and metric. It's powered with 2 AAA batteries and includes a lanyard and nylon pouch.
This unit contains a Class II Laser with 1mW output

MIN/MAX FUNCTION. In Min/Max mode, you "sweep" the laser point into a corner. The longest measurement is recorded. Very useful for accurate diagonal room or window/door measurements.
AREA/VOLUME FUNCTION. In Area Mode, this laser distance measure determines the area of a rectangle or square in two shots. Volume Mode adds a third vertical shot to calculate volume.
